So it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted but I think it is pretty good for a first attempt. I came up with the geometric shape idea (I have loved these things since I was little) but it wasnt looking like I wanted it to so I switched concepts and went with a morphing of the circles thing. I used a technique that my mom taught me to copy an image with out drawing it since I cant draw. The video is also the first thing I did with this kind of program so I think that turned out well even though I probably made it harder then it had to be. I think the video says it is 4:25 because that was how long the song I used was before I cut it but it is really only like 21 seconds. I thought I was going to enjoy this project more then I did, but it got frustrating fast because it was going so slowly.

girly, i really liked your flipbook.... you have some great drawing skills! the ice cream cone was my favorite part though! It was really creative to go from juggling to the ice cream! good job!
ReplyDeleteI give you five stars for your flip book. What a great job you did. I loved the joggling dog and how his balls transformed into the ice cream? I wish I could put something like that in my book. Cool creation:)
ReplyDeleteYour book was very neat and that is something I really like because I'm a neat freak. It connected pretty well and I loved the designs in the beginning how they grew and then disappeared again.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the simplicity of your flip book in the beginning with the pen only design, and then when it turned into color it was a special treat for the viewer. Very interesting to watch it unfold.
ReplyDeleteI really liked your flip book. the pictures were really cute. I liked the subtle movements you incorporated. I also liked that you used both balck & white and color.
ReplyDeletei liked your use of simple color. It didn't seem overpowering and didn't distract from the images.
ReplyDeleteThis was honestly one of my favorites. You are an AMAZING drawer. I would love to know what technique your mom taught you. Great music to go with the video as well. The colors were also perfect and everything was very well organized and clear. Excellent job!
ReplyDeletefirst of all, i really like how you took the time to make a video out of your flip book, you have alot more patience than i do. and i really like how the balls turn into ice cream, that was cool. i think you did a great job
ReplyDeleteThis one was really well drawn. I liked the kaleidascope design as well as the juggling. Great colors and great job overall!
ReplyDeleteVery detailed designs were great. I found it a little hard to see the motion, but the juggling character was very cool.
ReplyDeleteI love the video that you created for your flip book. The geometric shape was very cute and girly lol that's why i loved it. the juggler was amazing and it turning into ice cream at the end was genius. good work!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the whole frustrating thing, it's not that I didn't enjoy it, but thinking about what your going to do and its like "ahh %$^$%^$ wth!!!!! and don't say you cant draw, you did a great job even if you used a certain technique to get your animations. But I thought yours was cute, and I'm a pattern freak so you got brownie points with me for the pattern. It was so nicely done I liked it, truly.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely like how you went from black to color.....and then obviously the ice cream part was the best haha
ReplyDeletei really liked the pen design transitioning into the colors. The dog juggling going into the ice cream scoop was a good part too
