I guess I misinterpreted what we were supposed to do. I thought we just had to find a grid and make something. Before class though I had a feeling that what I did wasnt quite right but I thought doing something 3D would be kewl. I think what I did is open to interpretation as to whether it is a fly getting revenge or being swatted.

Even though it didn't count as a grid, I still thought the idea was great. Plus the detail you gave him and put into him, it was just really hilarious. Again, even though it wasn't a grid I really loved it.
ReplyDeleteYou rock my socks, girl. Even though it wasn't exactly what he wanted, it was still an awesome creation. I thought your bug was cute, and I'm sure it took a while to make! It was still a fantastically creative idea!!

ReplyDeleteI am curious how you came up with this! LOL. I really liked it, and it gave the class a good laugh. Art is interpretation, so if you wanted to make something useful from a grid, than I think you did a fantastic job!
ReplyDeletehaha this was so funny. i hope you use it as a real fly swatter. it was very creative and amazing that you made the whole fly yourself
ReplyDeleteI loved the humor behind this. Even though you didn't quite complete the project the way it was intended I still love it. Your fly has a lot of volume and is very life-like, Love it!

ReplyDeleteLoved it! I know it wasn't the right concept, but your project made me smile and that's all that matter. The massive fly on the fly swatter was hilarious and very creative. It must have taken so long to make that fly!!

ReplyDeleteEven though Santiago said it was not "really grid art" I really liked it. You thought to go off of the grid and take it to the next level. It was a very creative and cute idea to put a giant bug on the fly swatter grid.
ReplyDeletei really liked yours even though it's not really "a grid" its art you stepped out of the boundriew. The bug made me think of home we have this HUGE big blue bug right off the highway it's like something everyone rhode islander knows about
